Ferry Corsten @ Beachpop has got several ways to discribe it.
On the one hand it was a great show but on the other hand it had some down moments. The last one is not because the DJ's or the music they were playing. When we came there we were showed to our parking place next to the cercuit of Zandvoort. We've been told that a pendle bus would pick us up.
They didn't tell us when to be exactly, since it was a bit rainy, I took the umbrella from the car to keep us dry. Finally after 20 minutes waiting the bus came, thank god we got ourself a place in the packed bus. It drove us to the main entrance. I had no idear where to go so I waited in line, when they wanted my ticket I told them that I've won vip tickets for "DE KUST".
The guy told me to go al the way back and go down to the beach to get yourself noticed on the list of guests. So we went there. It was so windy that the umbrella suffered and was killed in action. When we came down, they told us that the girl with the list just went up. Confusion started to controll our minds. So we went up again. There was this security guy, we told him the situation. He had a list so I was asking for my name.
He said: It's not on the list. Another guy came and asked what the problem was, we told him the situation. He made a phonecall and the girl came.
It was so funny, the girl showed the securityman another list under the list.
And there it was. All names for FerryCorsten.com.

So finally we were in.
DE KUST was easy to find. When wecame at DE KUST Roald van Gelderen as playing some nasty tracks. There was a Big stage between the DJ Booth and the actually club. Next to the Booth there was a place for the VIP's and organisers. At first we wanted to taste the athmosphere on the stage.
The music was wicked, the soundsystem amazing. Thank god I had my earplugs with me (secures me till 90 dB, high and low frequences.
After a while when it started to rain we went inside. The sound was lousy over there. The guy who worked on the soundsystem there didn't know where to find the mid I think. All melodies were overruled by heavy basses.
When i started to rain harder it was getting crowdy inside. It was nice warm there, that was ok. Then Ferry started to tell the people about the weather while starting up Gouryella - Ligaya. It was a great moment. Like Ferry wanted to do something for the crowd. It worked imo, everybody was releaved with it and started to dance really intensive inside.
God, I love this song. Some guy hold a huge yellow umbrella above Ferry and the equipment to keep it dry while texting on his mobile. :p
Some time later it became even better he threw in William Orbit - Barbers Adagio for Strings, adagio it was for sure, what an impact when the trance sounds came in. It makes the whole day good.
I'm not going to tell what track Ferr played, I can't list them all, no need to.
It was great, I have to mention Cubikated, hehe this tune is a crowdpleaser.
When the rain stopped we went up to the vip/organisers stage next to the booth. Nice to see all those peeps up there and having a good time.
It was great to see the party people on the stage downstairs. Cool view.
I can imagen Ferry loves it to play for such a happy crowd.
At the end of the show I found some time to speek with Ferr, it was just for a minute since it started to rain again and my date went down. Anyway, some other guy with a producer from norway jumped in between the conversation we've had. Meanwhile Agnelli and Nelson went up and started some really cool introduction with an amazing build up. I didn't see al of them to be honoust. Around 21.45 we went back home since we didn't want to get stuck in traffic when everybody goes at the same time.

On the way back we came to the conclusion that BeachPop was after all a day to remember thanks to the DJ's who provided the best music around:
Ronald van Gelderen, Ferry Corsten, Agnelli & Nelson.
