NYE in Birmingham

Hi Guys!

Since my hubby will be away on NYE theres a good possibility that I could get to see Ferry live for the first time! The problem is that there are only flights London Stansted from my village:o Is there any way of getting to BHX from there? I am totally clueless about ground travel in the UK:o HELP!!!

You can only get flights to London Stansted from where you live? Just book another flight from Standsted to Birmingham, or look at coaches or trains. Stansted will have quite a few options to Birmingham I'm sure! Hope to see you there :)

Believe it or not but there are no flights from Stansted to Birmingham! There are flights to BHX from Norway, but you have loads of connecting flights (You got to go Amsterdam or Frankfurt and then Glasgow!!!) thus making a short trip a very looong one.

Can you fly anywhere else? If all else fails I think you can get a train from Stansted to London and from there you can either bus, train or fly to Birmingham :)

We are all staying at a hotel close to the club as well! You should most definately join us in our attempt to get kicked out and banned before the night is out! Haha :p

The simplest way to go from Standsted Airport to Birmingham is by coach:

The disadvantage of it is that it takes around 4hrs............train would be faster but u need to travel to central london then on tubes then on another train to get to Birmingham.
