I think it's obvious which one I'm going to pick! NYE was the best club night of 2005 for me out of ALL the parties I went to and not just Ferry!

Already sorted that out?
Have to go for the predictable NYE @ Gods.
Must admit I missed Ferry at Global Gathering - I was at the outdoor stage, expecting Tiësto to finish any minute... only for him to play one of the longest sets of anyone at the Festival!

My best Ferry gig of 2005 was in Sweden... the venue, the people, the atmosphere, the music, the champagne, the girls... :D

That would have been the 28th of May and was indeed a great set! :D
He played loads of tracks that made it onto Passport. The second CD really reminds me of it with Airbiscuit, Ronski Speed, Dogzilla, FB etc.

Now talk about an event!
It was my VERY FIRST time ever hearing or seeing Ferry, as well as Paul Oakenfold. No one told us how the order would go, so after hearing the much-respected Kenneth Thomas from Detroit, we got Oakey. Didn't like his set as much; a little too jumbled. Although he LOVED my shirt for some reason.
(I was wearing a sleeveless Def Leppard Union Jack concert shirt--in celebration of London UK getting the Games of the XXX Olympiad in 2012.)
But then came Ferry. You know, you can tell true trance lovers from the poseurs and wannabes--they left after Oakey was done and the rest of us danced and danced till 4:30AM. We could not stop dancing. Best of all, there was this one kid who had a light jacket on with the Dutch Tricolour as the lining. Couldn't miss it. Thankfully, I had two days off from work to recover. :D
I can hardly wait until he returns to Cleveland. Hopefully I will get to meet him!
