Hey all,
First, let me say hello to everyone who knows who's really making waves in EDM live performances. You wouldn't be on this forum if you didn't. :D Secondly, the Glow date seems to be Ferry's first back in the US but it is not posted on the site yet. If anyone hears of any other US gigs that are in the works please post them on this thread. That way we can all plan well in advance for the next time we'll look like  .

...As far as I heard Ferry say in an interview, he's going back again to the U.S. in September for a massive 4 or 5 weeks tour. And I believe he is also doing a South America tour in October....So, it seems that you guys will have him again for plenty of time... ;) :D

awesome!! let's hope he comes back to texas.....i know houston has a great new venue for spundae....it's so much better than mbar. i saw armin there a couple of weeks ago and it was soooooooooooo kick ass, so i know ferry would love it....what do you say ferry? :o

Ferry tends to stick with Spundae in the Spundae cities. He's a huge fan of Spundae (aka Godskitchen North America) -- his favorite gig of 2003 was @ Spundae LA.
So I imagine he'll do Spundae in Houston. If not, it'll probably be a Sean C. gig ... but I say the chances of it being non-Spundae are small.
I can't wait for him to come back to SF for Spundae. Last time he was here it was "insane" as Ferry described it. It'll probably be at a different club, though, since Spundae pulled out of its home @ Ten15. Hopefully @ The Mezzanine where the sound destroy's Ten15. Just no true booth there for me to hang up in and chat with Ferry :-p

waiting to hear from the head promoter at bleu as to availability of one of the vip booths (there are two on either side of where the dj spins)... they were reserved/rented at the last show, and ever since i have been bound and determined to get one for the next show. if they are available, would anyone be down for going in on one?
detroit show: september 3rd

Uh....yeah?
Let me know ballpark what that pricing is and I'll discuss it with some peeps from here in Cleveland who are coming with me. No promises since my friends tend to like the dancefloor but it would be cool depending on price. If you don't want to do this publicly then IM me, PM me or email me.
BTW, Hey Cyn. I remember you from my short stint on the DCS board after the last Ferry show. It was my first Ferry live experience and it was definitely the best performance I have ever seen...heard...felt...etc...lol. I tried to get back to Bleu for Sasha, Carl Cox, and some others but couldn't because of the cancellations, seeing them in Cleveland instead or bad timing for me.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Sean

heh... DCS. we're much better off as part of the nefarious family ;)
anyway -- i haven't heard from the promoter yet, but i will ask the owner of bleu. last time i think those booths were around $200, it'll fit 4 to 6 people.
"vip" access will probably be around $50 - $60 (gets you up to the balcony... but then you have to deal with security, ugh)

Is security really that bad? I never left the dance floor last time so I didn't have to deal with them. But if I want to go up to VIP (if I pay for it) to get a chance to hang out with Ferry are they going to be jerks about me being close to the dj booth? Or are they just jerks if they think you're doing something you're not supposed to?

hrmm... well, the way it's set up... there is a little walkway on either side, kind of in front of the booth. the one guy gave me **** for "taking too many pictures" and then they also gave me **** about being in the booth next to it (because they were rented out) even though that booth was rented by KT and his friends (KT -- kenneth thomas -- was the opening dj, and i have known him since '01 when we worked at the same club; he was totally cool with me being there).
it depends, i guess... if i get VIP this time w/out getting a booth, i'll probably just go up there to say hi and get my records signed. there wasn't much room to dance, and not-dancing at a ferry show is a waste of good music! :D

Hey people!
I'm new to this site and I like it already! I've NEVER been to one of Ferry's gig's and will fly anywhere to go experience what I've heard. I would totally go in on any VIP tables/boothes- however, I'm usually on the dance floor as well so I don't know if it would be worth it. All I know is that I don't want to miss out. Hopefully I can drag a friend or two with me. Anyway, I'm glad I finally found this site as I have been searching through search engines for a while.
Dance till you can dance no more... :)

hey, if you want to fly out for the detroit show, let me know :) although i think there is probably places closer to you, heh. but for a great over-all club experience, i'd recommend the Guv in toronto, for sure. of course, i hear the montreal shows are also amazing, but alas -- i haven't made it out that far yet.
