Week 052 : Ferr - Legend

In the year 1996 Ferry Corsten released the track 'Legend' under his alias 'Ferr' on the Dutch label 'Nutrition'. This label is a sublabel of the 'Essential Dance Music' label.

'Legend' is a house track, but it has some progressive and breakbeat elements in it as well. The track was the first release of Ferry's very first artist album ever. 'Nutrition' released the 'Ferr' album 'Looking Forward' in 1996 as well.

The vinyl release (Cat.nr. NUT 018) of 'Ferr - Legend' contains the original version (done by Ferry) and on the B side you will find the 'Hole In 1 Mix', which is done by Dutchman Marcel Hol. Marcel's remix contains a part of a speach by Martin Luther King.

Best Of System F & Gouryella (Part Two)
Right Of Way

Don't worry as thats his early work. I have more or less all of his work apart from the really early productions and remixes but I intend to get hold of that material.:)

"Ferr" The alias of Ferry's is where some of his most [prolific] of tracks have been made and this is no exception, Legend is fascinating to say the least!

Cool stuff by Ferry under Ferr. The Ferr stuff is quite chillout/ambient and quite a bit of breakbeat with a slight element of trance.:)
