2. TB: When and how did your interest in music begin?

FERRY: I became interrested in music ever since I was 9 years old. I always heard my older friends talk about this particular radio show that played such cool music. This radio show was called ‘The Soul Show’ and it featured the latest and coolest music from the clubs in the U.S. This changed my life forever..

"...After having started my own record label ‘Tsunami’, I needed content on my label. So, I started to create content by creating different artistnames again...System F, Gouryella etc. At some point I realised that all these projects needed follow up singles and it just became too much work. At the same time people started to notice that the person behind all those projects was one and the same guy, who by that time had also started Djing under his own name...Me! That’s when I decided to stop using the aliasses and step into the limelight with my own name Ferry Corsten... "

Thats exactly how it happened for me! I remember listening to Out of the Blue, Carte Blanche and Gouryella, and I checked out the info on each track and realised it was all the same guy! As they say...the rest was history! :p
