Part 055 : System F - Solstice
In 2001 Ferry Corsten released the album 'Out Of The Blue' under his 'System F' alias. When the album was almost finished, Ferry wanted to have an extra euphoric trance track on it. So he went back into his studio again to produce such a track. When it was finished, Ferry decided to name the track 'Solstice'.
A few months before the official release of the 'Out Of The Blue' album, Ferry was already testing some of the new tracks in his DJ sets and of course 'Solstice' was also one of them. It became a very popular and much requested track during these sets!
On the 'Out Of The Blue' album you can only find a short edit of 'Solstice, so a lot of people were requesting Ferry to release the full version of it. At the end of 2002 the entire full length version finally was released on the 'Tsunami' label. (Cat.nr. TSU 6036). On the B-side of the vinyl you can find 'Out Of The Blue' in a new remix done by Ferry. The official remix title is 'Ferry Corsten's Second Edition'. There are no official remixes done of 'Solstice'.
