Part 060 : Ferry Corsten - Right Of Way
In October 2003 the first Ferry Corsten artist album 'Right Of Way' was released. In the months before the official release date, Ferry was already testing a couple of the album tracks in his DJ sets. One of those tracks was his production 'Right Of Way', which also became the title track of the album. The very first time that this track was played in front of a big audience (and on the radio as well) was on Saturday July 5th 2003. Ferry played 'Right Of Way' during his set in the Amsterdam Arena for ID&T's 'Sensation White' event.
'Right Of Way' is a very energetic trance track combined with some electro influences. The track has an amazing drive through it and it is definitely a floor filler!
The 12" vinyl release of ‘Right Of Way’ was early January 2004 on the ‘Tsunami’ label (cat. nr. TSU 6045). The track ‘Kyoto’ is featured on the B-side. The CD release (including the radio edit) was on February 23. There are no official remixes made of 'Right Of Way'.
The video of ‘Right Of Way’ contains footage that was recorded during the ‘Right Of Way’ album release party in the Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam on Saturday October 25 2003.
