Alright, I think I may have managed to pull off about 3 hours sleep over the last 3 days, so I'm doing quite well here! Ha! Anyway really tired still but if I don't write this now, I don't think I ever will!
Last night I saw my 3rd and final gig down under with Ferry! I must admit, even though it was an awesome night, I didn't like the venue (I never have actually! in comparison to metros anyway...) it was soooooo hot with no ventilation and I had big fat sticky guys around me all night! haha wasn't the best feeling but hey, the price you gotta pay huh! It was really cool comign home to seeing Ferry, and since it was my first day back home, it was a great reunion with friends! There were heaps of us, and a lot of them had never seen Ferry and by the end of the night, they were totally blown away! YaY! :D So I think we can add another handful of people to the Ferry band wagon ;)
Out of all 3 gigs I went to (Mebourne, Sydney and Perth) I would have to say Sydney was the best gig in all aspects! Ronald van Gelderen...oh my god! What a legend!!! This guy was totally amazing, and I even had a few people say they thought he was better than Ferry! *Gasp* haha don't worry I wasn't one of them, but hey he was really good! I'm sure everyone who saw him or who will be seeing him will totally agree with me when I say, this guy is going places!!! I first saw Ronald at the FFWD parade in August and I thought he was good then...damn he's even better now! And I just love the way he dances around in the booth! There's nothing better than watching a DJ enjoy what he does!
For the rest of you who will be seeing Ferry for the rest of his tour, have fun!!! I think 3 is enough for Ferry! haha the poor guy can't get away from me! :o Like I told you Ferry, I'll give you 6 months off then I'm back at it! Haha! Thanks for an amazing summer! See you next year! :)
