first time meeting ferry last night at platinum, broadbeach AUS (28/11/04)... thank you so very much for playing sweetest dream as an encore (i was the guy who came and spoke to you about it :) )... it was fantastic to see that he got so involved with the fans during the set (something made easier by the fact that platinum is a small club)... not only was he making everyone dance but was also dancing and appreciating the music with everyone else... the atmosphere created was unbelieveable...
it was so clear that ferry is not a DJ for himself but a DJ for his fans... happily and excitedly meeting everyone who wanted to see him, taking requests and partying WITH the dancers.... truly more than just spinning disks... his happiness and excitement was infectious - making the whole night such a tremendous experience... THANK YOU FERRY... i'll see you on friday at the family for what promises... no what WILL be the greatest night of the year...
