Already dominating the #1 spot in the Beatport Trance Chart and festival circuit alike this summer with the aptly titled "Festival Crash", Dutch giant Ferry Corsten shows no signs of slowing down as he returns with the sensational "Hyper Love" - out now on Flashover Recordings.
Widely regarded as not only one of the most technically gifted DJ and Producers in dance music but a true visionary whom, throughout his illustrious career, has crafted the scene into what it is today, Ferry Corsten’s latest offering does not fail to disappoint.
Debuted to rapturous response during his "Full On Ibiza" residency at Space last Friday and finally receiving its worldwide premiere on SiriusXM, anticipation for the single’s release has reached fever pitch. Showcasing his unparalleled song-writing ability, with light piano chords and a classic breakdown acting as the perfect accompaniment for Nat Dunn’s rich and powerful vocal, "Hyper Love" is a truly captivating track sure to command the world’s airwaves and dancefloors alike.
Speaking out about his new track, Ferry explained "I’m always very open minded when working on new track. I’ve always been a huge fan of the UK piano break beat sound. When working on ‘Hyper Love’ I could hear how this would fit the song.
When Nat Dunn came up with the lyrics I immediately knew I wanted to take it in a more radio friendly direction."
A regular of every Top DJ Poll across the globe, founder of Flashover Recordings, as well as laying claim to the world’s most interactive radio show - Corsten’s Countdown, Ferry continues to reinvent the world of dance music. With a hectic touring schedule which has seen him return to the stage at some of the world’s most renowned festivals already this year and currently in the midst of his time-honored "Full On Ibiza" residency which will see him team up with partner-in-crime Markus Schulz as the almighty New World Punx - just another of his many projects - it’s no wonder Ferry remains one of the most in demand DJs around today.

The benefit show #DonateAndDance has received on behalf of GIRO 555 a total amount 35.798,- Euros! This is from the monies received from ticket sales, drinks, and private donations. This amount does not include donations received through the UPC Nederland broadcast which is coursed directly to GIRO 555 and donations received by other Philippine and international non-profit organisations due to the live and post broadcast found on the website http://www.donateanddance.com.
The support from the DJs who've played and the many who didn't but still supported us around the world, booking/management agencies, production companies, dance organisations, media and of course many volunteers has been fantastic. And of course all the fans and listener's worldwide!
It is heartwarming to see how people in the dance industry can come together… from DJs who've played and the many who didn't but still supported us around the world, booking / management agencies, production companies, dance organisations, media, and of course many volunteers and help in many different ways for a good cause. In such a short amount of time and through the generosity of organizations we've also been able to broadcast the event both on audio and video in the telegraaf, numerous broadcast stations worldwide, and of course our website http://www.donateanddance.com. Through their generosity our cause has reached a global audience. Donations from these broadcasts are directed to a number of non-profit organisations. The list of non profit organisations can be found on our website. We are not able to see how much is currently being earned through this, seeing this was also set up in a couple of days. But we hope the broadcast and website will help non-profit organizations receive more donations.
What has started as a Dutch dance benefit project at Club Panama Amsterdam in Holland to create awareness and encourage people to donate to victims in the Philippines via the benefit, directly to GIRO 555, and / or in their own special way became last night a global initiative.
"There is a land of the living and a land of the dead and the bridge is love, the only survival, the only meaning."
“On behalf of all the Filipinos around the globe, we love all of you and your efforts to help the victims of typhoon Hayian. Together we make a difference. Thank you for helping them rebuild their lives. Maraming Salamat Po.” Lia and Ferry Corsten.
Thank you to all who have worked to make #donateanddance DJs for the Philippines a reality!
DJs Ferry Corsten, Quintino, Blasterjaxx, Dennis Ruyer, Jacob van Hage, Marco V, Sandro Silva, Sied van Riel, Oliver Twizt will be playing to raise funds for the victims from the superstorm in the Philippines.
The Philippines has been greatly affected by the super storm and is in great need of clean water, shelter, food, and medical care. A benefit show on Wednesday November 20 has been set up in the club Panama in Amsterdam in order to raise funds. The proceeds of the event will be donated to the Dutch calamity fund GIRO 555. This account has been set up to receive funds from Dutch Nationals who wish to donate.
Ferry Corsten, the DJ who initiated this event has a close relationship to the Philippines: “It breaks my heart to see what has happened in the Philippines. My wife is Filipino, our daughter is half Filipino, and of course we have many family and friends who live there, who have been directly affected by the typhoon. Hundreds of thousands have lost everything and are in urgent need for help. This is why the benefit ‘Donate and Dance has been set up. We are so happy that so many DJs have reacted positively for this event and been able to set this up in a few days. Unfortunately, some DJs were out of the country so that they cannot be there for the evening, but many will be supporting our cause via their social media. We’ve already received financial donations for this cause. We have an amazing line up such as Quintino, Blasterjaxx, Dennis Ruyer, Jacob van Hage, Marco V, Sandro Silva, Sied van Riel, Oliver Twizt, and myself that will be playing on the evening. It is our hope that through this event we can influence others to show their support for the victims in their own way. ”
DJs for the Philippines #DonateAndDance is an event where top DJs from The Netherlands will be playing to help raise funds for GIRO 555. This initiative is meant to promote awareness and push people to donate for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan either through this event, directly through GIRO 555 or their desired non-profit organization, and/or in their own special way.

Maven electronic music master Ferry Corsten opens the book for a fourth spellbinding volume in his fabled ‘Once Upon A Night’ series. Over two exactingly structured, seamlessly crafted mix chapters, he chronicles his and Flashover Recordings’ latest clubland adventures. In addition to his own musical stock, the fourth edition features a wealth of new material from some of Holland’s most established label houses - Black Hole Recordings, Spinnin’ Records and Armada Music among them.
With this new edition Ferry has shifted the style sights - audibly travelling far beyond the exclusive province of trance. Expanding the ‘Night’s remit, he’s opened it up to embrace a wide span of electronic music, from which he draws on audio from both its best-known proponents and brightest young talent.
Released through Premier, November 28th 2013.

‘Once Upon A Night’s pages have been reopened and Ferry’s again ready to let the music tell the story.
Tonally the fourth OUAN odyssey departs on calm waters with a brace of tranquillity from London-based producer Ad Brown. With the vocalized shine of ‘More’ and ‘Thrive’ prefacing the mix, through fresh studio names Ferry crafts new threads into ‘Night’s narrative.
Drawing on audio from far and wide, Analogue Sound Department’s Daft Punk-ish ‘Rhodestep’, Timur Shafiev’s electronica-edged ‘Mainstream’ and the progressive harmonics of Amir Afargan’s ‘Dawn of Paradise’ light the mix’s path. Ducking its head into the big rooms for a moment, the midpoint finds Ferry debuting a track under a new pen name. The chip-tone channellings of LoCo’s ‘Out In The Field’ again subtly tweak O.U.A.N.’s character. Further in, ‘Is This Love’ from Zachary Zamarripa and Disco Freaks vs. Dayton Elliss ‘Take Me 2 The Sun’ inflect a grooving up-swell of house, before ‘Once Upon’ veteran REZarin signs the chapter off with ‘Signature’s flourish of pulse-racing anthemcs.
On bringing the fourth phase of O.U.A.N. to fans, Ferry said: “With the diversity of dance music in general being bigger than ever before, my playground is endless. And with the sound of this compilation I hope you can hear that nothing is impossible.”
With its pace & tempo dialled in, Ferry doesn’t ease off the gas but for a second. The second disc’s prologue comes in striking, bombastic fashion, courtesy of Slovenia’s Beltek. His summer 2013 ‘Inhale’ release conspires to bring some whipping, festival-rousing techno stomp to ‘Once Upon A Night’s plot. Fleshing out that tech-ish lean comes Chris Schweizer’s steel-tough remix treatment of Giuseppe Ottaviani’s ‘Gave Me’ and Beat Service’s dazzling re-spray of Bobina’s ‘For Who I Am’.
In their December issue Album of the Month review, MIXMAG says: “In a relatively lean end-of-year album landscape, ‘Once Upon A Night Vol. 4’ stands head, shoulders (and the rest) out from the crowd – 9/10”
With skilled assurance Corsten proceeds to drive the mix onto trancier ground. Alongside his and Giuseppe Ottaviani’s floor-packing ‘Magenta’ come the renegade, pitch-bent synths of Markus Schulz’s current club-rocket ‘Remember This’ and David Forbes’ fiery ‘Exist’. Providing ‘Once Upon A Night 4’s climactic twist-in-the-tale, Andy Duguid’s shimmering ‘Tiago’, Witness45’s synth-suffused ‘Thank You’ and the heady captivation of Venaccio’s ‘Foxy’ deliver its melodic-through-euphoric bookend.
With the album’s sonic fable travelling the listener to the farthest reaches of its author’s musical mind, ‘One Upon A Night’s latest edition serves Ferry’s series a new level high. ‘Vol.4’ is yours to own from November 28th.

On October 19, Ferry did play a special producersset during the 20th birthday of Gatecrasher. Many people asked Ferry on Twitter and Facebook to upload his set, but ... it wasn't recorded. Because of that, Ferry decided to reconstruct the entire set and put it online on Soundcloud. Check the link below for 90 minutes of awesome productions and remixes of Ferry!
