Undercurrent in Amsterdam North is preparing itself for a smashing European premiere of Full On - Hosted by Ferry Corsten on Thursday, October 18th 2012. With a packed sold out Australian Full On tour notched to their belt, Ferry Corsten and promoter UDC are now ready to introduce the Full On concept in all its glory to the industry, press and, most importantly, the fans during the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE). Against the industrial adornment of the Undercurrent, the brand spanking new event location in North Amsterdam, Ferry Corsten and his fellow DJs will serve their outspoken vision on the phenomenon of EDM.
If the sold out Australian editions of Full On are a precursor of the official presentation of the concept at the Undercurrent during the ADE, then the upcoming Thursday, October 18th will have to be marked with bright red ink in the party agenda. Passionately supervised by Ferry Corsten, the sparkling back-to-back sets of the grandmaster himself, fusing various styles and genres and the already memorable live performance of British chieftains Chicane will mark the pinnacle of the Full On ADE edition. The second room at the Undercurrent, presided from 22:00 until 06:00 by Solarstone as the commander in chief, will be the epicentre of what the modern day trance scene has to offer.

The internationally acclaimed DJ/producer Ferry Corsten and successful Dutch promoter UDC (Dance Valley) introduce their Full On concept at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) this year. Full On transcends the club event stigma; it shows the successful partnership between various genres such as trance, house and electro through the exciting back-to-back DJ sets, live artists, entertainment and ground breaking high tech 3D visuals, united into a one of a kind experience. Full On will be officially launched in the Dutch capital’s newest event location associated with the ADE, Undercurrent, in the presence of music industry professionals, fans and media.
Full On is the next level of the Full On Ferry concept that was launched together with UDC at Ahoy Rotterdam in 2007. After triumphant editions at Ahoy and other locations all over the world, the tried and tested concept will now officially be continued as Full On - Hosted by Ferry Corsten. With the ADE event Flashback at Paradiso (2010) and the sold out Ferry Corsten & Sander van Doorn ADE Special at Escape (2011) on Corsten’s resume, it is Undercurrent that got elected for the introduction of Full On. The remarkable premises located in the north of Amsterdam is a true eye catcher, floating on the river IJ, next to the creative NDSM grounds with an impressive view on the centre of Amsterdam.
Full On had its unofficial debut in New York as an after party of Electric Zoo at the Roseland Ballroom on August 31st 2012; followed by a Full On tour through Australia in September and with planned editions for Helsinki and Prague later on this year. The ADE 2012 edition however will enter the books as the official world launch. In cooperation with event organiser UDC, Corsten’s management and a choice of designers, Ferry Corsten created a carefully tailored show for which the word “concert” would be more appropriate.
“I will do my absolute utmost to make sure that the audience will be entertained. These last months I have been working hard do deliver the most high-impact show possible, one that will give the people the feeling they get the most bang for their buck, one that will surpass all their expectations”, according to Ferry Corsten.
“We are excited to work with Ferry again to branch out the concept of Full On. The success of the Full On Ferry tent at Dance Valley this year is a confirmation that we are looking forward to a bright future together in the Netherlands for this”, says Brian Bout from UDC.
Divided over two rooms, the Full On host will program a mouth-watering line up. The main room will be the domain where Corsten will play an all-night back-to-back set with his fellow DJs -a vision originally conceived on the first edition of Full On Ferry- and in the Side Room the main part will be claimed by trance virtuoso Solarstone and his Pure Trance concept. The artist roster in both Undercurrent rooms is nothing short of impressive: grandmasters Aly & Fila, veteran John 00 Fleming, the huge Showtek who recently collaborated with Hardwell and Tiësto, big talents like Bassjackers, Sied van Riel and the Finnish boy wonder Orkidea, with the live performances of the terrific Chicane and Italian trance don Giuseppe Ottaviani as the apotheosis.

In today’s furiously competitive music industry, it’s all about the live performance. That’s where Ferry Corsten – one of the world’s leading DJs, producers and electronic musicians of the last 20 years – lives and thrives. The live arena is where Corsten remains at the top of his game by making the biggest splash yet with his Full On (Hosted By Ferry Corsten) DJ performance. Full On is not your typical nightclub show; it’s more akin to a concert that is seamlessly integrated around a three-dimensional, diamond-shaped LED cube where magic happens. Perhaps the best feature of this extravagant event is the back-to-back sets between Corsten and his star-studded DJ guests, such as Gabriel & Dresden, Michael Woods and Audien. Full On (Hosted By Ferry Corsten) debuts in North America on Friday, August 31st, 2012, at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom for the official afterparty for Electric Zoo.
“I wanna make sure the crowds are really entertained with our back-to-back sets and for the peeps to feel that they are part of one big family. I’ve worked hard to deliver the most high-impact show possible. I want audiences to feel like they’re getting the best show for their dollar,” said Ferry Corsten about his Full On show concept. The Full On show concept is a spinoff of the Full On Ferry concept that debuted at the Ahoy Concert Complex in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, in 2007. Previous guests include Cosmic Gate, Sander van Doorn, Paul Oakenfold, BT, Fedde le Grand, Robbie Rivera, Dash Berlin and Sidney Samson, to name a few. The show has consistently toured around the world throughout the continents of Asia, Europe, and now for the first time on the North American continent, in New York City on August 31st.

NEW YORK, NY (June 25, 2012) – Internationally acclaimed EDM (electronic dance music) DJ, producer and artist Ferry Corsten launches the new one-hour monthly radio mixshow, "Ferry's Fix." Starting immediately, new episodes of Ferry’s Fix will begin airing on the leading terrestrial, Internet and satellite radio stations across North America and worldwide, with new partner radio stations being added each month. The format of Ferry's Fix contrasts entirely from Corsten's other hugely successful and long-running "Corsten's Countdown" show, the former a straight DJ mix of continuous music without talking or guests, and the latter a countdown show of individual tracks. (Corsten's Countdown currently airs in more than 50 countries on a weekly basis, including exclusively on SiriusXM Radio in the U.S.)
Said Ferry Corsten, "The new Ferry's Fix show is for all those fans who’ve been asking me for years to do a straight-up DJ mix, something that brings the club into their cars, ear-buds or living rooms. Ferry's Fix is totally different and unique from my Corsten's Countdown show which will continue unchanged. The reason I've decided to do a new monthly show – as opposed to Corsten's Countdown, which is weekly – is to give a stage to all of the killer music I find each month that perhaps doesn't fit into the format of Corsten's Countdown. I wanted to give listeners a full hour of the best upfront tunes, hottest remixes or unexpected goodies in the format of a pure DJ mix with Ferry's Fix. It's almost like making a new mix CD for each episode of Ferry's Fix. I hope you enjoy it!" Each episode of Ferry's Fix will allow Ferry Corsten to let loose and bring it as a DJ, where it'll be as much about the segues and overall landscape of the music from a contextual standpoint than solely about the tracks on their own. Fans of singles need not fear, however; with an artist as prolific as Ferry Corsten behind the decks, listeners are sure to hear many of Corsten’s own original productions.
The first radio stations onboard to broadcast Ferry's Fix include (but are not limited to): AddictedToRadio.com (U.S.); Alpha Radio (Bulgaria); Antenna 5 Radio (Macedonia); C-Dance Radio (Belgium); Dance Paradise (Brazil); DI.FM (Digitally Imported Radio, worldwide); Gercek Radio (Turkey); HI FM (Oman); Mas Music (Mexico); Ministry Of Sound Radio (UK); Pure.FM (U.S.); Radio Go Deejay (Slovakia); Radio Joe (Puerto Rico); Radio Sound (Italy); Radio Tortokszentmiklos “Club Mania” (Hungary); Traffic FM (Greece); Warm FM (Belgium), and others. More radio stations and channels will be added each month.
Hilversum, June 5, 2012 – Ferry Corsten has just extended his contract with Dutch radio station SLAM!FM. Upcoming year, the Dutch DJ / producer can be heard again every Friday evening with his popular radio show ‘Corsten’s Countdown’. During his show, Ferry plays the latest dance, trance and progressive-tracks. Listeners can vote for their favorite tracks via social media right after each episode. The three tracks with the most votes, will be played again the week after, in the “Corsten’s Countdown Top 3”. Next to SLAM!FM, the “Corsten’s Countdown” is broadcasted through over 50 countries world-wide.
SLAM!FM DJ Ferry Corsten: “On SLAM!FM new music gets a chance and hits are first discovered. Corsten’s Countdown therefore matches perfectly with this radio station, and I’m proud being able to host my show here.”
Program director SLAM!FM, Menno de Boer: “The SLAM!FM DJ line-up is a fantastic mix of fresh talent and the world headliners. Ferry always knows how to re-new his sounds and sets up a surprising party every Friday. Great that it stays that way!”

About Full on Ferry //
Full On Ferry, a concept of the Dutch DJ Ferry Corsten, was created back in October 2007. A night full of unique back-to-back sets between himself and fellow DJs and producers saw him lynchpin arena-sized events with a visual and aural event that would become an instant favorite amongst clubbers. Since the very first two events in his home city of Rotterdam, where Ferry had audiences marvel at his ‘floating’ dj booth suspended above the crowd, Full on Ferry ignited the interest and demand from promoters and fans around the globe. Last year saw Ferry bring his club concept to the island for a season of parties at the newly opened Sankeys club. The end of that year saw him take the show to Brixton’s O2 Academy in London on New Year’s Eve for the first UK edition of the event. For 2012 Full on Ferry is back on the road for a series of shows worldwide such as the various cities in the UK and Scotland, Holland, Sweden, Poland, Czech Republic, Lebanon, Thailand, Indonesia, and many more.
