One of the hardest-working DJs in the global trance scene, Dutch legend DJ Ferry Corsten made his way back to Asia this week for three stops -- including Malaysia, Singapore and Macau, China -- as part of his Blueprint World Tour.
As Typhoon Hato damaged Macau, killing at least 12 people, with the Macau government temporarily cancelling all entertainment in the global gaming hub, Ferry's show will be the first big EDM event after the chaos.
Meanwhile, Billboard Radio China has partnered with Corsten to launch his interactive electronic dance music radio chart show, Corsten's Countdown, airing weekly on Billboard Radio China's EDM/Club Channel on Friday and Saturday nights at 11 p.m. Beijing time.
"I'm very excited to be teaming up with Billboard Radio China as we continue expanding the reach of Corsten's Countdown. The team at Billboard Radio China have created an impressive platform for electronic music to reach Chinese fans, and partnering with them enables us to bring the latest and greatest forward-thinking trance music to this amazing country and audience," Corsten said.
He is the third international EDM producer to partner with Billboard Radio China, which stands as a pioneer in promoting electronic dance music in the region.
